The issue

On certain vehicles, the brake lights may remain on after releasing the brake pedal. If the brake lights stay on constantly, a following driver may not be alerted that the vehicle ahead is braking, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Daimler Trucks North America Authorized Service Facilities will replace the brake pressure switch.

Dans certains véhicules, les feux de freinage peuvent demeurer allumés après le relâchement de la pédale de frein. Si les feux de freinage demeurent allumés, le conducteur d'un véhicule à l'arrière du véhicule touché pourrait ne pas être avisé que le véhicule qui le précède freine, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les installations d'entretien autorisées par Daimler Trucks North America devront remplacer le manocontacteur de freinage.
