The issue
On certain motorhomes, the auxiliary solar charging port may have been installed without proper circuit protection (a fuse). If solar panels are connected through the solar charging port and they exceed the amperage capacity of the circuit, there may be an increased risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install an inline fuse to the auxiliary solar charging port circuit.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, l'orifice de chargement solaire auxiliaire pourrait avoir été posé sans protection adéquate du circuit (un fusible). Si des panneaux solaires sont branchés par l'orifice de chargement solaire et qu'ils dépassent l'ampérage maximal du circuit, il pourrait y avoir un risque accru d'incendie blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un fusible sur le circuit de l'orifice de chargement solaire auxiliaire.
