The issue

Issue: On certain 19RD Super-Lite travel trailers, there may not be enough clearance between the top of the axle and the bottom of the black (waste) water holding tank. As a result, the axle could contact the holding tank when the trailer is loaded and the tank is filled. This can cause damage to the holding tank and result in a black (waste) water leak. Safety Risk: A leak from the waste water tank could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Gulf Stream Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to replace the axle to increase the clearance. Gulf Stream Coach recommends that you should travel with the holding tanks empty until the recall repairs are completed.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes classiques 19RD Super-Lite, il pourrait ne pas y avoir suffisamment d'espace entre le dessus de l'essieu et le dessous du réservoir d'eaux grises (usées). Par conséquent, l'essieu pourrait entrer en contact avec le réservoir lorsque la remorque est chargée et que le réservoir est rempli. Cela pourrait endommager le réservoir et causer une fuite d'eaux grises (usées). Risques pour la sécurité : Une fuite du réservoir d'eaux usées pourrait créer un danger routier et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Gulf Stream Coach doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer l'essieu afin d'augmenter l'espace. Gulf Stream Coach recommande de voyager avec des cuves de rétention vides jusqu'à ce que les réparations à effectuer dans le cadre de ce rappel soient effectuées.
