The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes equipped with V-Ride rear suspension, the mounting bolts for the rear axle may not be properly tightened. This could cause the track bar, which maintains the position of the rear axle, to detach. Safety Risk: A track bar that detaches could affect vehicle handling and stability, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Trucks of North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to an authorized DTNA Service Facility to ensure the rear axle mounting bolts are properly tightened.

Problème : Dans certaines autocaravanes munies d'une suspension arrière V-Ride, les boulons de montage pour l'essieu arrière pourraient avoir été mal serrés. Par conséquent, la barre de route, qui maintient la position de l'essieu arrière, pourrait se détacher. Risque pour la sécurité : Une barre de route qui se détache pourrait nuire à la maîtrise et à la stabilité du véhicule, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident. Mesure corrective : Daimler Trucks of North America (DTNA) avisera les propriétaires touchés par la poste. Les propriétaires touchés devront amener leur autocaravane à des installations d'entretien autorisées de DTNA afin de s'assurer que les boulons de montage de l'essieu arrière sont bien serrés.
