The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the steering shaft assembly may not have been installed correctly. This could cause a loss of connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels, resulting in a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a Daimler Trucks of North America authorized service facility to inspect the steering shaft assembly. It will be repaired if required.

Problème : Dans certains camions, l'arbre de direction pourrait avoir été mal installé. Cela pourrait causer une perte de connexion entre le volant et les roues avant, ce qui provoquerait une perte de contrôle de la direction. Risque pour la sécurité : Une perte de contrôle de la direction pourrait créer un risque d'accident. Mesure corrective : L'entreprise avisera les propriétaires par la poste.
