The issue

Issue: On certain school buses, the 150-A breaker installed under the driver’s seat may be too large for the wiring connected to it. As a result, the wiring could overheat before the circuit breaker trips. Safety Risk: An electrical circuit that overheats could increase the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and provide them with a replacement circuit breaker that has a lower current rating, and the directions for installing it.

Problème : Dans certains autobus scolaires, le disjoncteur 150 A installé sous le siège du conducteur pourrait tolérer une trop grande intensité électrique pour les fils qui y sont connectés. Par conséquent, les fils pourraient surchauffer avant que le disjoncteur ne se déclenche. Risque pour la sécurité : Un circuit électrique qui surchauffe pourrait créer un risque d’incendie. Mesures correctives : Micro Bird avisera les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournira un disjoncteur de moindre intensité nominale ainsi que les instructions nécessaires à son installation.
