The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the information printed on the compliance label was not printed with permanent ink. As a result, the ink may be wiped away with a solvent. This could result in an operator not being able to see information about the correct vehicle loading. If this happens, the vehicle could be unintentionally overloaded. Safety Risk: An overloaded vehicle could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the compliance label.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, les informations figurant sur l'étiquette de conformité n'étaient pas imprimées à l'encre permanente. En effet, l'encre peut être effacée à l'aide d'un solvant. Un conducteur pourrait ainsi ne pas être en mesure de voir les informations relatives au bon chargement du véhicule. Si cela se produit, il pourrait surcharger le véhicule involontairement. Risques pour la sécurité : Un véhicule surchargé pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Honda doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer l'étiquette de conformité.
