The issue
Issue: On certain motorhomes, the latch for the utility compartment door could rotate to the locked position when the motorhome moves or sways. If this happens, you will not be able to open the utility compartment. As a result, the shut off valve for the propane system would not be accessible. Safety Risk: If there is a propane leak and you are unable to access the propane shut off valve, there could be an increased risk of a fire or explosion. Corrective Actions: Triple E RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to modify the latching mechanism on the utility compartment door.

Problème : Dans certaines autocaravanes, le verrou pour la porte du compartiment de service pourrait pivoter jusqu'à la position verrouillée lorsque l'autocaravane bouge. Si cela se produit, vous ne serez pas en mesure d'ouvrir le compartiment de service et vous n'aurez donc pas accès au robinet d'arrêt du système de propane. Risque pour la sécurité : S'il y a une fuite de propane et que vous n'avez pas accès au robinet d'arrêt du propane, il pourrait y avoir un risque accru d'incendie ou d'explosion. Mesure corrective : Triple E RV avisera les propriétaires par la poste.
