The issue
Issue: On certain motorhomes equipped with an awning, an electrical problem could cause the awning to extend suddenly. Safety Risk: An awning that extends while driving could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a circuit interrupter to prevent the awning from extending while the ignition is on.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes munies d'un auvent, un problème électrique pourrait faire en sorte que l'auvent se déploie soudainement. Risques pour la sécurité : Un auvent qui se déploie pendant que le véhicule roule pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Forest River devra aviser les propriétaires par courrier, et leur demander d'apporter leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire poser un interrupteur de circuit pour empêcher l'auvent de se déployer pendant que le circuit d'allumage est sous tension.
