The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, engine vibrations may cause the wiring for the horn to break. If this happens, the horn will not work. Safety Risk: Without a working horn, a rider may not be able to warn of an unsafe situation. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to modify the wiring for the horn.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, les vibrations du moteur peuvent provoquer la rupture du câblage du klaxon. Si cela se produit, le klaxon ne fonctionnera pas. Risques pour la sécurité : Sans un klaxon fonctionnel, un conducteur peut ne pas être en mesure de signaler une situation dangereuse. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Kawasaki doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour modifier le câblage du klaxon.
