The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the windshield may not be properly attached. As a result, the glass can become loose and could separate from the vehicle in a crash. Safety Risk: A windshield that detaches in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Action: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to remove and reinstall the windshield.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le pare-brise pourrait ne pas être correctement fixé. En conséquence, le verre pourrait se détacher et se séparer du véhicule en cas de collision. Risques pour la sécurité : Un pare-brise qui se détache lors d'une collision pourrait créer un risque accru de blessure. Mesures correctives : Ford doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire enlever et réinstaller le pare-brise.
