The issue

Issue: Under certain conditions, the main contactors for the high-voltage battery could overheat. If this happens, there could be a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the update performed at a Ford dealership.

Problème : Dans certaines conditions, les contacteurs principaux de la batterie haute tension pourraient surchauffer. Si cela se produit, il pourrait y avoir une perte soudaine de puissance au niveau des roues. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance au niveau des roues pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Ford doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et envoyer une mise à jour logicielle sans fil par la voie des airs à chaque véhicule. Vous pouvez également prendre rendez-vous pour que la mise à jour soit effectuée chez un concessionnaire Ford.
