The issue

Issue: On one fifth wheel RV trailer, the emergency exit window was not installed. As a result, you may not be able to escape from the trailer in an emergency if the entry door is blocked. Safety Risk: A missing emergency exit could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealership to install an emergency exit window.

Problème : Sur une caravane à sellette, la fenêtre de sortie de secours n'a pas été installée. Par conséquent, il pourrait être impossible de sortir de la caravane en cas d'urgence si la porte d'entrée était bloquée. Risques pour la sécurité : L'absence d'une sortie de secours pourrait accroître le risque de blessure en cas d'urgence. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser le propriétaire par la poste et lui demander d'amener sa caravane chez un concessionnaire pour y faire installer une fenêtre de sortie de secours.
