The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the wrong door latch may have been installed in the front passenger door. As a result, the automatic locking function won't work on that door. An unlocked door could open in a crash. Safety Risk: A door that opens in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Infiniti will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the right-front door lock assembly.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, un mauvais verrou de portière pourrait avoir été installé dans la portière avant droite. Par conséquent, la fonctionnalité de verrouillage automatique de portières ne fonctionnera pas. Une portière non verrouillée pourrait s'ouvrir lors d'un accident. Risques pour la sécurité : Une portière qui s'ouvre lors d'un accident pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Mesures correctives : Infiniti doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer l'ensemble de la serrure de la portière avant droite.
