The issue

Issue: On certain buses, the right-front turn signal lamp could fail when the turn signal or hazard warning lights are turned on. Safety Risk: A turn signal that doesn't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes. A hazard lamp that doesn't work could make the vehicle less visible. Both could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Prevost will notify owners by mail and provide you with directions for completing the recall repairs. The repair will include installing improved headlight wiring.

Problème : Sur certains autobus, le feu clignotant avant droit pourrait ne pas fonctionner lorsque les clignotants ou les feux de détresse sont actionnés. Risques pour la sécurité : Un clignotant qui ne fonctionne pas pourrait empêcher une personne de reconnaître qu'un conducteur a l'intention de tourner ou de changer de voie. Un feu de détresse qui ne fonctionne pas pourrait rendre le véhicule moins visible. Dans les deux cas, cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Prevost doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions pour effectuer les réparations du rappel. La réparation comprendra l'installation de fils de phare améliorés.
