The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the high-voltage battery relay contactors could become stuck in the closed position. As a result, the battery pack could overheat while charging. Safety Risk: A battery that overheats can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to update the high-voltage battery software. The dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-voltage battery pack.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, les contacteurs du relais de la batterie haute tension pourraient se bloquer en position fermée. Par conséquent, la batterie pourrait surchauffer pendant le chargement. Risques pour la sécurité : Une batterie qui surchauffe peut créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Jayco doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire mettre à jour le logiciel de la batterie haute tension. Le concessionnaire doit également inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer la batterie haute tension.
