The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the engine output shaft could break. If this happens, there could be a loss of drive power. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, l'arbre de sortie du moteur pourrait se briser. Si cela se produisait, il pourrait y avoir une perte de puissance motrice. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte soudaine de puissance pourrait accroître le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : BRP doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les mesures correctives pour le présent rappel sont en cours d'élaboration.
