The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the exterior stainless-steel trim above the windshield may not be attached properly. As a result, the trim could loosen and detach from the vehicle. Safety Risk: Trim that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Genesis will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the exterior stainless-steel trim above the windshield.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, la garniture en acier inoxydable extérieure au-dessus du pare brise pourrait ne pas être fixée adéquatement. Par conséquent, la garniture pourrait se desserrer et se détacher du véhicule. Risques pour la sécurité : Une garniture qui se détache du véhicule pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Genesis doit aviser les propriétaires par écrit et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer la garniture en acier inoxydable extérieure au-dessus du pare brise.
