The issue
VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 400 C.I.D. ENGINES AND AIR CONDITIONING OR POLICE PACKAGE. SUBJECT VEHICLES MAY BE EQUIPPED WITH FLEXIBLE FIVE-BLADE ENGINE COOLING FANS THAT MAY EXPERIENCE FATIGUE CRACKING IN THE BLADES. THIS CONDITION MAY ALLOW BLADE FRAGMENTS TO SEPARATE FROM THE FAN ASSEMBLY POSSIBLY DAMAGING UNDERHOOD COMPONENTS OR INJURING SERVICE PERSONNEL.

Ces véhicules peuvent être équipés d'un ventilateur de moteur à cinq ailettes souples qui peuvent se fissurer par fatigue. Il en résulte que des fragments d'ailettes peuvent se séparer du ventilateur et éventuellement endommager des éléments du compartiment moteur ou blesser le personnel d'entretien.
