The issue

THE TANDEM POWER BRAKE BOOSTER REAR SHELLS MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH REDUCED WALL THICKNESSES. REPEATED BRAKE APPLICATIONS COULD CAU SE SUCH A SHELL TO CRACK AND THE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY TO COME APART.THIS COULD RESULT IN A TOTAL LOSS OF BRAKING CAPABILTY WITHOUT PRIOR WARN ING AND PRESENT THE POSSIBILITY FOR LOSS OF CONTROL AND VEHICLE CRAS H.

Les tambours arrière du servomécanisme double de freinage peuvent avoir été fabriqués en un métal de faible épaisseur. Des freinages répétés peuvent entraîner la fissuration de ces tambours et la dislocation du servomécanisme. Cela peut entraîner la perte totale du pouvoir de freinage ainsi que la perte de maîtrise du véhicule; un accident est alors possible.
