The issue

VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIR CONDITIONING MAY HAVE THE MAIN ENGINE COMPARTMENT WIRE ASSEMBLY INCORRECTLY ROUTED ABOVE THE AIR CONDITIONING SUCTION HOSE SUCH THAT THE WIRE ASSEMBLY CONTACTS THE HOOD PROP-UP BRACKET ATTACHING BOLT. THIS CONDITION MAY RESULT IN CHAFING OF THE WIRING INSULATION POSSIBLY CAUSING AN ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT THAT MAY RESULT IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE.

Dans le cas des véhicules équipés d'un climatiseur, il est possible que le câblage principal du compartiment moteur soit mal installé au-dessus de la conduite d'aspiration du climatiseur, de sorte que le câblage entre en contact avec le boulon de fixation du support de la béquille du capot. Il peut en résulter un effilochement des gaines du câblage, un court-circuit et, par conséquent, un incendie dans le compartiment moteur.
