The issue

Certain vehicles equipped with an Eaton two-speed rear axles contain a ratio adapter attached to the rear of the speedometer and an air switch behind the dash which may come in contact with the coiled wire heater duct hose, resulting in an electrical short which could ultimately cause fire.

Certain camions équipés de ponts arrière Eaton à deux rapports sont munis d'un adaptateur de démultiplication derrière le compteur de vitesse et d'un commutateur pneumatique placé derrière le tableau de bord. Ce dernier peut toucher le serpentin métallique de la gaine d'air chaud, ce crui peut provoquer un court-circuit et entraîner un incendie.
