The issue

On certain trucks, the pitman arm was undertorqued when installed on the sector shaft of the steering box. Separation of the pitman arm would result in loss of steering control.

Sur certains camions, le bras de commande a été mal serré lors de son assemblage à l'axe de la boîte de direction, de ces véhicules. Au cas où le bras de commande se sépare de l'axe de direction, le conducteur perd la maîtrise du véhicule. 1
