The issue
THE BENDIX E12 DUAL CIRCUIT AIR BRAKE VALVES ON THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH AN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED TAPERED SNAP RING WHICH COULD COME OUT OF POSITION AND CAUSE THE VALVE TO MALFUNCTION, APPLYING THE TRUCK'S BRAKE SYSTEM WITHOUT WARNING. THIS COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A VEHICLE CRASH. CORRECTION: BRAKE VALVE WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.

Il se peut que les anneaux de retenue coniques aient été installés incorrectement sur les valves Bendix E12 à deux circuits de freinage; ils risquent alors de se déloger et par conséquent de causer une défaillance des valves provoquant le freinage soudain du véhicule. Il pourrait en résulter une perte de maîtrise du véhicule, voire un accident.
