The issue
THE BRAKE ACTUATING ROD TO BRAKE VALVE ARM FASTENERS MAY NOT HAVE RECEIVED ADEQUATE TORQUE DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS TO MAINTAIN FASTENER INTEGRITY. A LOSS OF THIS FASTENER WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF SERVICE BRAKE AVAILABILITY TO THE DRIVER. CORRECTION: A STOVER LOCKNUT WILL BE INSTALLED AND PROPERLY TORQUED ONTO THE CAPSCREW WHICH SECURES THE SERVICE BRAKE ACTUATING ROD TO THE BRAKE VALVE ARM.

Il se peut que les pièces de fixation entre la tringlerie de commande du frein et le bras du robinet de commande au pied du freinage n'aient pas été suffisamment serrées durant la montage pour rester solidaires. Si la pièce de fixation venait à se détacher, le conducteur perdrait l'usage des freins de service. Correction: Un contre-écrou stover serré selon les normes devra être installé sur les boulons qui retiennent la tringlerie de commande des freins au bras du robinet de commande au pied du freinage.
