The issue

On certain trucks, the aluminum rear spring shackle brackets may have developed cracks which may lead to separation of the brackets from the frame rail. This could cause the suspension to drop down on one side and result in a reduction in steering control with the potential for a crash. Correction: Rear spring shackle brackets will be replaced.

Sur certains camions, les supports en aluminium des jumelles des ressorts arrière peuvent être fissurés et il se peut qu'ils se séparent du longeron du cadre. Si cela se produit, la suspension pourrait s'affaisser d'un côté et le déséquilibre qui s'ensuivrait pourrait amener le conducteur à perdre le contrôle de son véhicule et à avoir un accident. Correction: Les supports des jumelles des ressorts arrière devront être remplacés sur les véhicules visés.
