The issue

Certain vehicles may exhibit fan blade rivet breakage which could lead to fan blade separation from the spider. If this should occur while the hood is open, a person working under the hood of the vehicle or in the vicinity of the vehicle could be struck by the fan blade and injured. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace, if necessary, the existing fan with one having thicker headed rivets.

Sur certains véhicules, il se peut que les rivets des pales du ventilateur se brisent et qu'une pale se détache du croisillon. Si cela se produit alors que le capot est ouvert, quiconque travaillant sur le moteur ou se trouvant à proximité pourrait être frappé par la pale et se faire blesser. Correction: Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et remplacer le ventilateur au besoin; les têtes de rivets du nouveau ventilateur devront être plus épaisses.
