The issue
On certain vehicles, the windshield wipers could interfere with the main cab wiring harness causing one or more wires to eventually wear through. This could result in a short circuit of certain wires which would cause the engine to stop. If this were to occur when the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed and manouevering through traffic there would be the potential for a crash. Correction: Main cab wiring harness routing will be modified.

Sur certains véhicules, les essuie-glaces peuvent entrer en contact avec le faisceau de câbles principal de la cabine et entraîner l’usure d’un ou de plusieurs câbles. Il se pourrait alors que certains câbles soient court-circuités et que le moteur s’arrête. Si cela devait se produire alors que le véhicule roule à grande vitesse dans la circulation, un accident pourrait s’ensuivre. Correction: L’acheminement du faisceau de câbles principal de la cabine devra être modifié.
