The issue

On certain vehicles, the specified front axle weight limit may be greater than the hub capacity. If the axle load exceeds the maximum weight capacity of the hub, there is an increased risk of hub fatigue, which could cause a complete separation of the wheel(s) and a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the incorrectly specified front axle hubs.

Dans certains véhicules, la limite de charge spécifiée pour l'essieu avant pourrait être supérieure à la capacité du moyeu. Une charge sur essieu qui dépasse la capacité de charge maximale du moyeu posera un risque accru de fatigue du moyeu, ce qui pourrait causer un détachement complet d'une roue ou plus et une perte de maîtrise du véhicule. Cela augmenterait les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les moyeux d'essieu avant dont la limite spécifiée est incorrecte.
