The issue

Certain vehicles exhibit a condition in which a pinch bolt exists in the recliner mechanism that could trap and pinch a person's hand or finger(s) when the easy entry feature is activated. This pinching could cut the hand or possibly sever the finger(s) without prior warning. Correction: a protector will be installed over the recliner mechanism.

Sur certains véhicules, le mécanisme d’inclinaison des sièges est doté d’un boulon de pincement dans lequel on peut se coincer la main ou les doigts quand on actionne le dispositif repli-siège. On pourrait alors être gravement coupé à la main ou avoir un ou plusieurs doigts sectionnés de façon imprévisible. Correction : Un protecteur devra être installé au-dessus du mécanisme d’inclinaison.
