The issue

On certain motorcycles, an improperly manufactured transmission gear can cause weakening and eventual breakage of an adjacent gear, with which it engages. Gear breakage can result in transmission lock-up which could cause the operator to lose control of the motorcycle. Correction: The improperly manufactured gear together with its adjacent gear will be replaced.

Sur certaines motorcyclettes, il se peut qu’un pignon de transmission mal fabriqué endommage un pignon adjacent qu’il engrène, et le fasse éventuellement briser. Comme le bris du pignon peut faire bloquer la transmission, il se peut alors que le conducteur perde le contrôle de la motocyclette. Correction : Le pignon mal fabriqué et le pignon adjacent devront être remplacés.
