The issue
Certain vehicles may experience a fire originating in the left front under hood area as a result of electrical overheating of the speed control deactivation switch. Correction: A new speed control deactivation switch and connector shell will be installed on affected vehicles.

Sur certains véhicules, un incendie peut éclater à l’avant gauche du compartiment moteur à la suite d’une surchauffe électrique du commutateur de désactivation du régulateur de vitesse. Correction : Un nouveau commutateur de désactivation du régulateur de vitesse et une nouvelle gaine de connecteur devront être installés sur les véhicules visés.
