The issue
On certain vehicles, the coolant heaters may be missing a combustion chamber (a.k.a. burner tube). When a coolant heater is defective, a flame will be noticed exiting the exhaust pipe at the bottom of the unit. This condition could result in an engine compartment fire. Correction: A combustion chamber will be installed in affected units.

Sur certains véhicules, les réchauffeurs peuvent avoir été assemblés sans chambre de combustion (ou tube mélangeur). Si le réchauffeur est défectueux, une flamme s'échappera du tuyau d'échappement, dans la partie inférieure du réchauffeur, ce qui peut provoquer un incendie dans le compartiment moteur. Correction : Une chambre de combustion devra être posée sur les réchauffeurs visés.
