The issue

On certain vehicles, the main cab power and battery leads were attached incorrectly to the same side of the 135A circuit breaker when this circuit breaker was mounted in the optional firewall location rather than in the standard battery box location. This condition resulted on the main cab power circuit being unprotected. If a wiring short occurred anywhere along the cab power circuit, the available battery power could arc and cause a possible fire. Correction: Vehicles will be inspected and wiring corrected as required.

Sur certains véhicules, les câbles de l'alimentation principale de la cabine et les câbles des batteries ont été branchés par erreur du même côté du disjoncteur de 135 A lorsque ce dernier a été monté sur la cloison pare-feu plutôt qu'à son emplacement habituel dans le compartiment des batteries; en conséquence, le circuit de l'alimentation principale de la cabine n'est pas protégé. S'il se produit un court-circuit n'importe où sur le circuit d'alimentation de la cabine, il peut y avoir au niveau des batteries un amorçage d'arc qui peut provoquer un incendie. Correction : Les véhicules devront être inspectés et les câbles branchés au bon endroit s'il y a lieu.
