The issue
On certain vehicles, improperly manufactured fuel feed and return hoses were installed. The position of the crimp securing the rubber hose material to the steel quick release connection may have been improper. If the crimp is not properly position, fuel leakage could occur in the engine compartment. If an ignition source is present, this fuel leakage could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace all feed and return hoses.

Sur certains véhicules, des tuyaux d'alimentation et de retour de carburant incorrectement fabriqués ont été posés. Il se peut en effet que le sertissage qui retient le caoutchouc sur le raccord rapide en acier n'ait pas été fait au bon endroit. Si c'est le cas, il peut y avoir fuite de carburant dans le compartiment moteur. En présence d'une source d'allumage, du carburant répandu représente un risque d'incendie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer tous les tuyaux d'alimentation et de retour du carburant.
