The issue

On certain vehicles, the nut on the bolt which connects the steering gear to the steering coupling may not be tightened correctly. Loosening of the nut could result in a slipping of the connection over time, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealer will inspect the vehicles and tighten the nut if necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, l'écrou du boulon qui relie la crémaillère à l'accouplement de direction pourrait ne pas être serré correctement. Un desserrement de l'écrou pourrait à la longue résulter en un glissement de la connexion, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra inspecter les véhicules et resserrer l'écrou si nécessaire.
