The issue

On certain vehicles, improper welding of the end cover that secures the service nipple to the fuel rail may eventually cause a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could create the risk of a vehicle fire and possible injury or death. Correction: Dealer will install a V-clamp securing device to the fuel rail.

Sur certains véhicules, une soudure inadéquate du couvercle arrière qui retient le raccord de service sur la rampe d'alimentation en carburant peut éventuellement se mettre à couler. En présence d'une source d'allumage, une fuite d'essence constitue un risque d'incendie pouvant causer des blessures ou des pertes de vie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un dispositif de retenue en V sur la rampe d'alimentation.
