Recall 2004036

The issue

On certain vehicles, incorrect axle steering stop bolts were installed. It may be possible to turn the front wheels in either direction until the tires contact or damage other steering components, resulting in vehicle damage or a possible vehicle crash without prior warning. Correction: Dealer will replace the front axle steering stop bolts.

Sur certains véhicules, on a installé les mauvais boulons de butée sur l'essieu directeur. Cela pourrait permettre de braquer les roues avant à gauche ou à droite jusqu'à ce que les pneus entrent en contact avec d'autres pièces de direction ou les endommagent, ce qui pourrait causer un accident. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra remplacer les boulons de butée de l'essieu avant.
