The issue
On certain Legacy, Outback H-6 3.0L and Impreza WRX 2.0L Turbo, the cruise control cable could come out of its track on the cruise control lever and lodge on the control lever tab when the accelerator pedal is released. If this condition occurs, the throttle will not return to the idle position which may cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle. Correction: Dealer will install a retaining clip to the cruise control lever tab.

Sur certaines Legacy, Outback à moteur H-6 de 3,0 L et Impreza WRX à moteur turbo de 2,0 L, le câble du régulateur de vitesse pourrait sortir de son guide situé sur le levier du régulateur de vitesse et aller se loger sur la languette du levier du régulateur de vitesse au moment où le conducteur relâche l'accélérateur. Si cela se produisait, le papillon ne reviendrait pas en position de ralenti, ce qui pourrait provoquer une perte de contrôle du véhicule. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra installer une attache de retenue à la languette du levier du régulateur de vitesse.
