The issue
On certain vehicles built on FCCC XC motorhome chassis, in a situation where multiple alarms are active, a Check Engine, Stop Engine, or similar warning indicator is given priority over the Low Air alarm by the instrument system controller software. If the operator does not acknowledge these higher priority alarms a Low Air alarm may not be displayed. This is a non-compliance with the low air warning requirements of CMVSS 121. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Multi-Module Data Controller (MMDC).

Sur certains véhicules construits sur un châssis d'autocaravane FCCC XC et dans l'éventualité du déclenchement de plusieurs alarmes, le programme du dispositif de commande du système d'instruments donnerait plus d'importance à l'alarme Check Engine, à l'alarme Stop Engine et à une alarme de ce type qu'à une alarme Low Air. Si l'opérateur ne tenait pas compte de ces alarmes prioritaires, l'alarme Low Air pourrait ne pas s'afficher. Ceci est non conforme aux exigences d'avertissement Low Air de la NSVAC 121. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront reprogrammer le système de commande à modes multiples de données.
