The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with the Curtain Shield airbag system, the curtain airbag may be twisted near the inflator due to improper assembly. In this condition, the gas supplied by the inflator may be inadequate for proper inflation of the bag, causing incomplete inflation of the curtain in the event of a collision. Correction: Dealers will inspect, and replace the curtain airbag if necessary.

Sur certains véhicules équipés de rideaux gonflables, le rideau gonflable pourrait être tordu près du dispositif de gonflage à cause d'un mauvais assemblage. Si c'était le cas, la quantité de gaz produite par le dispositif de gonflage pourrait être insuffisante pour un gonflement adéquat du rideau, ce qui provoquerait un gonflement incomplet du rideau en cas de collision. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les rideaux gonflables et les remplacer si nécessaire.
