The issue

Certain Eiger and Vinson ATVs were assembled with fuel tanks having an incorrect fuel petcock insert. With the incorrect insert, the originally specified bolts affixing the fuel petcock to the fuel tank are too long and can bottom-out in the insert before the fuel petcock is securely clamped to the fuel tank. If the fuel petcock is not securely clamped to the fuel tank, fuel leakage could occur. Correction: Dealers will replace the 16 mm long fuel petcock mounting bolts and bolt gaskets with 14 mm long bolts and new bolt gaskets.

Certains VTT Eiger et Vinson ont été équipés d'un réservoir de carburant dont le robinet de purge dispose d'une garniture de taraudage inadéquate. À cause de ce problème, les boulons que l'on prévoyait utiliser pour fixer le robinet de purge au réservoir de carburant sont trop longs et ne peuvent donc pas être vissés complètement, ce qui pourrait provoquer une fuite de carburant. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les boulons de montage de 16 mm de longueur et le joint de chacun des boulons par des boulons de 14 mm de longueur et de nouveaux joints.
