The issue

On certain motorhomes, a steel braided pneumatic line is routed too close to a compartment support strut and can become pinched between the strut and hydraulic fluid filter. This will cause the steel braided line to abrade against the filter canister. Undetected, the steel braided line could wear through the filter canister, resulting in a hydraulic fluid leak and a loss of power steering assist. Correction: Dealers will inspect, replace or repair damaged lines as necessary and relocate the affected hydraulic lines.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, une conduite pneumatique en acier tressé passe trop près d'une jambe de force de compartiment et pourrait se coincer entre la jambe de force et le filtre de liquide hydraulique. Cela ferait en sorte que la conduite en acier tressé s'userait contre le filtre. Si l'on ne détectait pas le problème, la conduite en acier tressé pourrait percer le filtre, ce qui provoquerait une fuite de liquide hydraulique et une perte de servodirection. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter, remplacer ou réparer les conduites endommagées au besoin et relocaliser les conduites hydrauliques touchées.
