Recall 2007010

The issue

On certain buses equipped with Lift-U wheelchair lift systems manufactured by Hogan Mfg., it is possible for a person using a wheelchair to wedge their feet under the lift assembly's solid bar barrier linkage. Personal injury including a twisted foot and/or a cut could result. Correction: Owners will be notified and asked to contact Lift U / Hogan Mfg. to obtain a free repair kit and installation instructions.

Sur certains autobus équipés d'un système de levage de fauteuil roulant Lift-U fabriqué par Hogan Mfg., il est possible qu'une personne qui utilise un fauteuil roulant se coince les pieds sous la tringlerie de la barrière de la plate forme élévatrice. Des blessures, y compris un pied tordu et une coupure, pourraient se produire. Correction : Les propriétaires seront aviser du défaut et devront contacter la compagnie Lift U / Hogan Mfg. pour obtenir le nécessaire pour corriger ce problème..
