The issue

On certain motorhomes, the service compartment that contains the inverter and house batteries is insufficiently sealed from spark producing devices. In the event out gassing occurs from the batteries and the gases are exposed to a spark, ignition of the gasses may occur. This has the potential to ignite combustible objects within the compartment, resulting in a vehicle fire. Correction: Dealers will install a compartment spacer and bulb seal.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le compartiment qui contient l'onduleur et les batteries domestiques n'est pas assez étanche aux dispositifs qui produisent des étincelles. S'il advenait que du gaz s'échappe des batteries et que le gaz soit exposé à une étincelle, les gaz pourraient s'enflammer. Cela pourrait enflammer des objets combustibles se trouvant dans le compartiment, ce qui causerait un incendie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser une entretoise de compartiment et un joint d'ampoule.
