The issue

On certain vehicles, a manufacturing fault with the fuel pump relay could cause the coil wire in the relay to break. If this happens, the fuel pump will not operate and the engine may not start. If the relay fails while driving, the engine may stall without warning and a crash could occur. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the fuel pump relay.

Sur certains véhicules, un défaut de fabrication au niveau du relais de pompe à carburant pourrait faire en sorte que le fil de la bobine qui se trouve dans le relais se brise. Si cela se produisait, la pompe à carburant ne fonctionnerait pas et le moteur pourrait ne pas démarrer. Si le relais faisait défaut pendant que le véhicule roule, le moteur pourrait caler subitement et un acccident pourrait survenir. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer le relais de pompe à carburant.
