Fatal crashes in the US
From 2020 to 2023, 174 Ridgeline vehicles were involved in crashes on US public roads in which someone died, and 84 people died inside them. These are counts, not crash rates: a model with more cars on the road shows up more often, and people killed outside the vehicle are not counted here.

EU safety alerts
Safety Gate, the European Union's rapid alert system, names the Ridgeline in 6 alerts. European versions can differ from the North American car.
At high speeds, the air inlet between the bonnet and the radiator grill causes vibrations in the hood. This can result in stress fractures along the bonnet latch striker and its separation from the bonnet, causing the bonnet to open. This obstructs the drivers…
Aggressive cleaning agents can damage the fuel pump feed port and cause fuel to leak out. As a consequence, fuel may spill onto the road and create a hazard for the following traffic.
A fault with the inflator of the front passenger airbag results in the release, when the airbag is activated, of small metal particles which may injure the occupants of the vehicle.
The inflator's propellant may degrade over time due to heat cycles and exposure to moisture. In case of an accident with airbag deployment, the inflator may burst and metal fragments may be expelled and cause serious or fatal injuries.
Abnormal deployment pressure may lead to rupture of the driver's air bag inflator case. In this event, metal fragments could be propelled into the passenger compartment, potentially causing injury to a vehicle occupant.
Owing to excess internal pressure, inflation of the driver airbag can cause the inflator to split and release metal fragments which can cause injury to the vehicle passengers.
