The issue

On certain trucks, the bolts that attach the steering gear to the frame may not have been tightened to the specified torque. This could allow the bolts to loosen and fall-out, possibly causing a loss of steering control and a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will tighten the bolts to specs.

Sur certains camions, les boulons qui fixent le boîtier de direction au châssis pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés au couple spécifié, ce qui pourrait leur permettre de se desserrer et de tomber. Dans une telle situation, le conducteur pourrait perdre le contrôle de la direction et avoir un accident causant des blessures ou des pertes de vie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront serrer les boulons conformément aux spécifications.
