The issue
On certain school buses equipped with Braun platform lifts, a passenger can approach the exposed lift doorway without the audible alarm alerting them of their proximity to the threshold. Should the threshold warning system fail to operate, the lift user can fall from the vehicle and be seriously injured. Correction: Owners will be provided with inspection and retrofit instructions. Note: Further evaluation revealed that only U.S. vehicles are involved.

Sur certains autobus scolaires et autobus interurbains munis d'une plate forme élévatrice Braun, un passager pourrait s'approcher de la sortie sans que l'alarme ne l'alerte qu'il se trouve près du seuil. Si le système d'avertissement de proximité du seuil ne fonctionnait pas, l'utilisateur de la plate forme élévatrice pourrait tomber du véhicule et être gravement blessé. Correction : On devra fournir aux propriétaires des instructions d'inspection et de mise à niveau. Nota: après plus ample évaluation, il fût découvert qu'aucun véhicule canadien est afecter.
