The issue

On certain motorcycles, a defect within the ignition switch assembly may cause an unexpected loss of electrical power to the Engine Control Module (ECM) and other electrically controlled components. This could cause the engine to stall which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will repair the ignition switch assembly.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, un défaut dans l'interrupteur d'allumage pourrait causer une perte inattendue de courant électrique au niveau du module de commande du moteur et d'autres pièces commandées électriquement. Cela pourrait faire en sorte que le moteur cale, ce qui, conjointement à l'état de la circulation et de la route, et aux réactions du conducteur, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront réparer l'interrupteur d'allumage.
